The PS4 Pro was the most powerful console in the world at launch. It is an updated version of the PlayStation 4 with improved hardware to enable 4K rendering, intensely vibrant game play, stunningly sharp movies and incredible detail- A 'Supercharged' PS4
The brief was to create a unique twist on the PS4 brand, and to give art direction for the launch campaign for both video and static visuals about how the new console enhances software titles compared to the original PS4. The traditional blue PlayStation wave has been updated to a dynamic vibrant wave, featuring a flexible full colour spectrum that can interact with the console as well ask key art from software titles - alluding to the powerful graphic capabilities of the console (4k rendering an a high dynamic range of colours)
This campaign was used to launch the console in 2017 in all European territories, the Middle East & Oceana + was carried over into a campaign in 2018 including being used in live Champions League games on advertising hoardings.
